First time filler patients may like the new Volbella for lips because it is a softer, less  dramatic filler and causes less swelling. This filler is also great for patients with small lips because it is only a .5cc or “1/2 syringe”.

Bruising is still common, even when using Volbella for lips.

For patients with larger lips, or who have had previous injections, Juvederm Ultra may be a better choice for filler.
