What is Rejuvapen or Dermapen or Eclipse microneedling?

All of these terms refer to the treatment involving tiny needles in the skin to increase collagen formation.

During microneedling or Rejuvapen, 11 needles are vibrated into the skin at an exact depth. This depth is determined by the esthetician. These tiny wounds cause a reaction in the dermis which results in increased collagen.

Microneedling is very safe and easy. Each Rejuvapen or Dermapen or Ecllipse advanced microneedling procedure takes about 30 minutes.You will feel mildly hot for about 2 hours, along with being bright red. You will remain a bit pink for a couple of days. For very agressive treatment, your down time will be greater and longer.

To improve poor texture, scars and fine lines, 4 treatments in a row of microneedling are suggested. For yearly maintenance, 3 per year.

Any part of the face or body may be treated with microneedling, even the eyelids!!
